Rodman Goode has more than 20 years of law enforcement experience, having been first commissioned as a Texas peace officer in 1984.  He's taught hundreds of police officers in a diverse range of subjects  during his career.  He is a certified Forensic Hypnotist, a Reid Interview and Interrogation trained investigator, and he holds an Advanced SWAT certification.


Rodman attended and graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communications and a minor in Political Science. In 2013 he received his Master of Public Administration in Public Policy from Texas Southern University in Houston.


Mr. Goode has taught public school for six years, including three years in Grand Prairie ISD and three years in Mabank ISD. In 2013, he retired from the Dallas Marshals Office after 10 years with that agency.


He is the author of the mystery novel THE CHRONICLES OF JACK BEST.

Here's a glance at the academic calendar for the MHS Law Enforcement Program, from August 2016 through May 2017.  This is not a specific step-by-step curriculum guide but more of a snapshot as to where we are heading throughout the year.  Some details may change from time to time, but for the most part, this is what the year will hold for the Law Enforcement Program.
